Emre Can says Liverpool “have to go again” if Philippe Coutinho joins Barcelona this summer.
Coutinho has been linked with the Catalan giants, and handed in a transfer request last week in an attempt to force through the move.
Liverpool rejected the request however, and have no intention of selling the player this summer.
Can says the speculation is “no problem”, even with the season now in full flow.
“I think it’s no problem for us because nobody speaks in the team about that,” he said.
“Of course, if Philippe stays with us everybody is happy – in my eyes, he’s one of the best players in the world.
“But if he goes, if he wants to go then everyone will wish him the best and we have to go again.”
