Liverpool winger in talks over Bournemouth switch

Bournemouth are reportedly talking to Liverpool over deal to sign Harry Wilson on loan.

The Wales winger returned to Anfield for pre-season after a successful campaign at Derby last season.

Jurgen Klopp was keen to get a good look at the 22-year-old before deciding his immediate future, which could include another spell away from Anfield.

According to Goal, Bournemouth are discussing with Liverpool the prospect of taking Wilson on loan for the season with a decision expected imminently.

Any deal is likely to include guarantees over playing time, which isn’t likely to be a problem in the coming weeks since David Brooks has been ruled out for three months.

Klopp was asked about Wilson’s future after last Wednesday’s pre-season win over Lyon.

“We will see what happens in the next eight or nine days until the window closes,” he said.

“We are in constant conversations, that’s clear. We have to do the right thing for us and for the boy.

“He is obviously a really good player and I was really happy with him in the whole pre-season.”
