Joachim Low has claimed that Paris Saint-Germain “don’t want to sell” Arsenal target Julian Draxler.
Draxler’s future has been the subject of intense speculation, with reports emerging earlier this month that PSG had deemed the winger surplus to requirements.
The player’s agent responded quickly to those claims, stating that he had a future in Paris, and that his club still wanted him.
But Arsenal have strengthened their interest in the Germany international as a result of Manchester City’s pursuit of Alexis Sanchez, with the Gunners identifying Draxler as a potential replacement.
Germany manager Low believes the 23-year-old will be staying in France, however.
“I know for a fact that Paris don’t want to sell him,” Low said. “They are convinced of his outstanding qualities.
“He made such a big step forward there. I am convinced that he will come out on top at Paris. By now, he’s already playing a big role for us.”
