Arsenal fans are cowering in fear after Louis van Gaal confirmed he has received “an offer that I think I can’t refuse”.
Van Gaal has been out of management since summer 2016, when he departed Manchester United after two years in charge.
The Dutchman was said to have retired “for family reasons” in January 2017, but he later confirmed that this was only a sabbatical.
The 66-year-old has now alluded to a new role, adding that if he is not in work by the start of next season he will call time on his career.
Van Gaal is tipped at 100/1 to replace Arsene Wenger at Arsenal, sitting below Ian Wright, George Graham and, well, Arsene Wenger on the list.
But we are more than happy to put two and two together to come up with 427 and hitch ourselves on the ‘Van Gaal to Arsenal’ bandwagon.

“I still get a lot of offers, and now I’ve had an offer that I think I can’t refuse,” he told Ziggo Sport.
“I can’t share anymore than this.
“More than this I do not say, but if I am not at work in July or August, I will definitely retire.”
