Leroy Sane has completed his move from Manchester City to Bayern Munich after months of speculation linking him with the German outfit.
The 24-year-old has joined the Bundesliga champions on a five-year deal in a deal reported to be worth £54.8million.
City manager Pep Guardiola told his club’s official website: “We wish Leroy all the best in this new chapter of his career.
“Leroy has been part of one of the most special periods in this club’s history and he leaves with the best wishes of everyone here at Manchester City.”

On Sane, City’s director of football, Txiki Begiristain, added: “From arriving as a fledgling young talent four years ago, we are proud of the contribution Leroy has made since joining Manchester City. He leaves with many friends and fond memories of his time at the Etihad.”
City are reportedly understood to be delighted with the fee for the player, given the amount of time he has been sidelined for this season, the fact he has only a year left on his contract, the potential impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the transfer market and the other options they have in attacking positions.
