Ilkay Gundogan “can even imagine” Liverpool beating Barcelona 4-0 to advance to the Champions League final.

Liverpool face an uphill task in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final on Tuesday, having lost 3-0 to Barca in the first at the Nou Camp.

The tie is far from over and Barca’s away record in Champions League knockout games offers hope, while Klopp will draw inspiration from past experiences.

Manchester City midfielder Gundogan feels that the Reds have every chance of making it through.

“I’ve already thought about it and somehow I have the feeling that it’s not over yet,” he told DAZN.

“I can even imagine Liverpool winning the game 4-0 at home.

“I don’t know why, but I think that at Anfield, and Klopp as a motivational machine and with the types of players that are very unpleasant to play against, even a team like Barca can be completely shut down in one game.”
