Man United bid for Liverpool target that Mourinho ‘loves’

Manchester United have made an offer for reported Liverpool and Wolves target Anderson Talisca, according to reports in Portugal.
Liverpool were said to be leading the chase for Talisca, who scored 20 goals and assisted eight in 47 games for Besiktas this season.
But O Jogo now report that United are one of three clubs – the other two being unnamed sides from the Chinese Super League – to have made an actual offer.
They claim that United have bid £35m for the forward, who has previously stated that Jose Mourinho “has a love” for him.
Talisca now has a choice to make between the Premier League side and a move to China, where he would be offered considerably more money.
But the temptation of playing in the Champions League, where he scored four goals in eight games this season, could sway his decision.
O Jogo add that Roma are also ‘in pursuit’ of the Brazilian, but are unlikely to match his valuation.
Talisca is actually owned by Benfica but has spent the past two seasons on loan in Turkey with Besiktas.
Besiktas had the option of buying Talisca permanently for £18.4m, but it expired on May 31.
