Peter Schmeichel “would love to see” son Kasper play for Manchester United.
Schmeichel, who would also love to see David Moyes still managing at Old Trafford, expressed concerns over his son’s future at Leicester recently.
“They’ve got good players,” he said of the Foxes. “They just don’t have the manager who can get the best out of them.
“Once they get everything sorted out, and I leave it to you to interpret what that means, you’ll see Leicester maybe in fifth to eighth place, where they belong.”
Schmeichel would take great pleasure in seeing his Premier League title-winning son following in his footsteps and joining the club.
“I enjoy seeing Kasper playing for Leicester City,” he said.
“I think what they’ve done is fantastic and he’s one of the pillars of that club.
“Of course I’d love to see him play for Man United, but I just want my son to be happy where he’s playing and playing well.”
