Manchester United target Ivan Perisic admits it is his “dream” to play in the Premier League.

Perisic has been linked with a move to England for some time, with United huge admirers of the Inter Milan winger.

Jose Mourinho explained why he considers Perisic to be a “different” kind of forward in the summer as he fired Croatia to a World Cup runners-up place.

And United have been linked with a £31m move for the 29-year-old, with Mourinho unsure as to why he did not join in the last transfer window.

Perisic has now given Mourinho a possible boost however, stating his desire to play in England before he retires.

“I have always said this is my dream,” he told Calciomercato of a move to the Premier League.

“In football everything is possible, we will see in the future.

“Now I’m focusing on Inter.”
