David de Gea has sent out a message to Manchester City ahead of Sunday’s crucial derby.
Manchester United host City on Sunday in a game that could potentially decide the destination of the Premier League title.
City lead United by eight points, and a victory at Old Trafford could see them boast a daunting 11-point gap after 16 games.
But De Gea, who is really bloody good and made 14 saves in the 3-1 win over Arsenal, feels the league’s top scorers should also be fearful of the league’s best defence.
“Well, can City stop United as well, no? We play at home, with the fans, a special game of course, it’s a derby,” he told Sky Sports.
“We are confident, we feel really strong and we want to win.
“We are in a really, really good moment. We won two away games, difficult games, so we are confident, we are strong, we know we play an important game and, like I said before, we really want to win.”
