Kylian Mbappe has hinted that he will ignore potential summer interest in his services to remain at Monaco next season.
The Frenchman has been strongly linked with moves to Manchester United and Real Madrid over the past few months following his superb breakthrough season at the Ligue 1 club.
Mbappe has bagged 26 goals in all competitions as Monaco won the French title and reached the semi-final stage of the Champions League.
And the 18-year-old has revealed that he is “very happy” at the club and promised to do even better next campaign.
“For next year, I promise a better season,” said Mbappe. “We must always set the bar high otherwise we do not progress.
“I am very happy. We wanted it [Ligue 1 title] from the beginning, and it’s done.
“We have given ourselves the means of our ambitions, and in football, when we give ourselves the means, it is always less difficult.
“Now we’re going to celebrate, and when the euphoria comes down, we’ll have to get back to work. Football is an eternal challenge.
“It will be necessary immediately to recover to be at least as efficient. Football goes fast but it can go quickly in both directions.”
