Man Utd are getting closer to sealing a deal for Porto left-back Alex Telles this summer with talks progressing, according to reports.
The Brazilian left-back scored an incredible 11 goals in 31 appearances for Porto in the Portuguese top flight last campaign, while he also contributed eight assists.
The 27-year-old started this season with a bang too, bagging two goals and an assist as Porto beat Braga 3-1 on Saturday.
Telles has entered the final year of his contract at the Portuguese club and could be set to leave this summer as Porto wouldn’t receive a fee in the summer.
There were reports earlier this month that Telles’ representatives had travelled to Manchester in an effort to tie up a transfer to Man Utd as soon as possible.
The Red Devils have offered Telles €4m a year, which is almost four times what he gets paid now and ‘everything really suggests’ that a move to Man Utd is imminent.
Sport Witness also bring us an update from O Jogo, who claim that Diogo Dalot being used as part of the deal is ‘not on the table’.
