Man Utd have ‘every confidence’ of securing transfer for midfield star they’re ‘really hot’ on

Manchester United reportedly have “every confidence” they can “make the numbers work” on a deal for Sofyan Amrabat, as they’re “really hot” on the midfielder.
United’s midfield already has a number of big names in it. Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and Mason Mount are all players who can have a big impact on the side.
Amrabat is a player United seemingly feel can add something to that group. Indeed, he’s one of the names who’s been most heavily linked with them of late.
Where it was Frenkie De Jong last summer – though United failed to land him – all eggs are in Amrabat’s basket this summer.
Transfer insider Dean Jones has reiterated just how much the Red Devils would like to see the Fiorentina midfielder walk through the door at Old Trafford.
“They are really hot on this deal, I think they will keep pushing this to make it happen because there seems more intent than any time up to now,” he told GIVEMESPORT.
“There is still the Atletico Madrid factor to fend off but United want to make Amrabat their next signing after [Rasmus] Hojlund and if they can pull that off it’s going to be a real accomplishment.”
While Atletico may still offer competition, other exit avenues are closing for Amrabat, including clubs in Saudi Arabia, as he ‘awaits’ United. That would suggest Atletico might also fail in their attempts to sign him.
Jones added that United feel they have the resources to get the deal done.
“United’s transfer window was redefined over the course of July and now August will be used to put the finishing touches to the deals and glam up the squad,” he said.
“I’m told there is every confidence they can make the numbers work on this one, so it’s a pretty exciting time.”
Amrabat would seemingly round the squad off nicely. Indeed, he adds a different dimension to a lot of the midfielders Erik ten Hag has at his disposal, so it would be be a great move were he to pull it off.
Given United feel they’ve can make the numbers work, there seems to be no reason to suggest they won’t be able to do so, especially given the midfielder seemingly wants the move himself.
