Man Utd ‘have no intention’ of selling Martial
Manchester United reportedly have no plans to sell Anthony Martial, despite the France star’s apparent desire to leave Old Trafford.
Martial’s agent revealed on Wednesday night that his client wished to quit the Red Devils three seasons after joining from Monaco for £36million plus add-ons.
“After thinking about all the factors and possibilities, Anthony wants to leave Manchester United,” said Philippe Lamboley, but the club look set to resist the 22-year-old’s urge.
The BBC and Sky Sports both claim that United are intent on keeping the attacker who has one year left on his current deal, though the Red Devils retain the option to extend those terms for an additional year.
Been told @ManUtd have no intention of selling Anthony Martial. Still has one year + option for additional season left on his contract.

If United were open to a sale, they would certainly look to at least recoup the £42million-plus they have already spent on Martial. The Gossip this morning also suggests they would refuse to sell Martial to a Premier League rival, which would complicate Tottenham and Chelsea’s interest.
