Saudi Arabian outfit send ‘official offer’ to Man Utd ‘scapegoat’ as ‘fed up’ Red Devils consider sale

A Saudi Arabian side have sent an ‘official offer’ to Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho as the Red Devils weigh up a sale, according to reports.
The England international has struggled to settle at Old Trafford since completing a £72m move from Borussia Dortmund in 2021.
Sancho contributed 25 goals and 27 assists in his final two seasons in the Bundesliga but the 23-year-old has managed just nine goals and six assists in his first two campaigns at Man Utd.
Erik ten Hag revealed last season that Sancho was struggling “physically and mentally” last season with the Man Utd winger missing a couple of months of the campaign to recover.
Sancho started this term by coming off the bench in the Red Devils’ first three Premier League matches against Wolves, Tottenham and Nottingham Forest – but Ten Hag dropped him out of the squad for their 3-1 loss to Arsenal on Sunday.
“Jadon, on his performances in training we did not select him,” Ten Hag told reporters when asked about Sancho after their defeat to Arsenal.

“You have to reach a level every day at Manchester United and we can make choices in the front line. So for this game he was not selected.”
But Sancho hit back at his manager’s claims on X: “Please don’t believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue, I have conducted myself in training very well this week.
“I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into, l’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair! “All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team.
“I respect all decisions that are made by the coaching staff, I play with fantastic players and (am) grateful to do so which I know every week is a challenge.
“I will continue to fight for this badge no matter what!”
A report earlier this week insisted Man Utd are ‘fed up’ with Sancho and that the England international is ‘on his way to leaving’ after his social media retort to Ten Hag.
Man Utd legend Rio Ferdinand urged the Red Devils boss to either drop or sell Sancho, while ESPN reporter Mark Ogden reckons there’s “no way back” for the winger at Old Trafford.
And now Italian transfer journalist Rudy Galetti insists a Saudi Arabian club is ‘exploring the opportunity’ to sign Sancho ‘and just sent an official offer’ for the Man Utd player, describing the situation as ‘evolving’ and ‘ongoing’.
