Milan Skriniar has dismissed speculation that he is going to leave Inter Milan this month in a foul-mouthed rant on social media.
The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford with reports yesterday suggesting he was one of the names on United’s shortlist for a new central defender.
Jose Mourinho is believed to have recommended the Slovakia international to the Red Devils’ executive-vice chairman Ed Woodward before his sacking from the club in December.
Diego Godin has been heavily linked with a move to Inter Milan over the past week with reports suggesting the potential signing of the veteran centre-back from Atletico Madrid will mean Skriniar is allowed to leave.
And Skriniar reacted angrily on social media by posting this message on his Instagram story: “You write things that you don’t even know. You are sh*t. Now write an article on this.”
It is rumoured that Kalidou Koulibaly is United’s main target, with the Napoli centre-back reportedly telling the Italian outfit that he wanted to move.
However, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is adamant he won’t be sold this month and wants the player to form the cornerstone of their bid to win the Europa League – a competition he believes the club can win.
