Man Utd reportedly have three priorities in the summer transfer window, including Swansea City defender Joe Rodon.
The Red Devils have been linked with a host of names in the past few months despite the Premier League shutdown over the coronavirus pandemic.
A report from Miguel Delaney in The Independent claims that Man Utd ‘are cautious about “the optics” of overspending in the current situation’.
The financial state that some clubs find themselves in during the pandemic could be beneficial to United with the potential that some sides could be forced to sell their best players.
Two of their most high-profile targets have been Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho and Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish.
Delaney adds that ‘Grealish remains in United’s band of “highest priority” targets, along with Jadon Sancho’ and that their ‘summer transfer priority list’ includes ‘Jadon Sancho, Jack Grealish and Joe Rodon’.
Delaney continues by saying: “He [Sancho] currently looks a likelier signing than Grealish, along with Swansea City’s Joe Rodon.
“The young centre-half may mitigate the need to sign either RB Leipzig’s Dayot Upamecano or Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly.
“They latter two currently remain on United’s top-priority group.”
