Manchester United are looking to wrap up some of their summer transfer business as early as this month, according to reports.
The Red Devils improved their midfield in the January transfer window by bringing in Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon, who seems to have already made a difference to performances at Old Trafford.
Executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has already committed to bringing in more new signings this summer after he said the next transfer window provides an “important opportunity” to build a squad capable of challenging for Premier League and Champions League glory.
United want to sign Grealish ‘early in the summer transfer window’ and have already ‘expressed interest’.
The report adds: ‘United’s preference is to ‘execute’ deals for summer targets in February.’
The arrival of Fernandes in January has ‘not impacted United’s interest in attacking midfielders Grealish and [James] Maddison’ and Aston Villa ‘are expected to let Grealish go with their blessing if they receive a suitable offer’.
