Anthony Martial believes Zlatan Ibrahimovic would “bring experience” to Manchester United if he were to sign.

Ibrahimovic is out of contract at Paris Saint-Germain this summer, with the striker already confirmed to be leaving the French champions after four successful years.

The 34-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to United among many other clubs, and Ibrahimovic himself has hinted at a move to Old Trafford.

Our transfer guide believes a move for Ibrahimovic would make perfect sense for a United side in desperate need of a winning mentality and star quality, and Martial agrees that his experience would be invaluable.

“If Zlatan was to come, it would be really good,” Martial said. “He’s a great striker, he will bring us experience.”

Martial also discussed the appointment of Jose Mourinho as manager, with the Portuguese replacing Louis van Gaal in the hot seat.

Mourinho, who was sacked by Chelsea in December, has signed a three-year deal at Old Trafford, and is expected to restore the club to their former glories.

“We know that Mourinho is a great coach, one of the best in the world,” the 20-year-old said.
