Anthony Martial has agreed to sign a new long-term deal at Manchester United, according to reports.

The Frenchman joined the Red Devils back in 2015 from Monaco for an initial £36million and has scored 46 goals in 161 matches since.

His future was in doubt during Jose Mourinho’s spell as manager with the forward unhappy under the Portuguese coach.

However, a turnaround in fortunes under caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seems to have convinced Martial that he sees his future at the club.

RMC Sport claims that Martial will sign fresh terms on a contract that will see him tied to the club until 2024.

Solskjaer was hopeful of progress on new deals for a number of players when asked about the situation recently.

“Hopefully we’re going to have some good news in the coming weeks,” Solskjaer said.

“I think the club’s making progress but I leave that to the right people to do that I don’t know really how far we are away from it.”
