Nemanja Matic will travel with the Manchester United squad for their clash with Arsenal despite picking up an injury on Tuesday.

The midfielder was withdrawn during the 4-2 win at Watford with what Jose Mourinho described as a muscle problem.

Following the Vicarage Road win, Mourinho said: “For Nemanja Matic to tell me he wants to be replaced, he does not do that if it’s nothing important. It is muscular.”

But, ahead of the Red Devils’ visit to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening, Mourinho told MUTV that Matic will travel south on Friday with the squad, even if he remains unsure of the Serbian’s availability.

Mourinho added that Phil Jones, Eric Bailly and Marouane Fellaini will all remain on the sidelines.
