Henrikh Mkhitaryan has returned to Manchester United’s squad for the trip to FC Rostov in the Europa League.

Jose Mourinho has named a 20-man squad, but there is no space for Luke Shaw, Wayne Rooney or Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Shaw finally started in the Premier League for Manchester United on Saturday after being left out of the side by Mourinho, but has been omitted again.

Mkhitaryan has not played since sustaining an injury in the last-32 second leg against St Etienne.

Manchester United’s squad in full is as follows:¬†De Gea, Romero, O’Hara; Valencia, Jones, Rojo, Smalling, Blind, Darmian, Young; Carrick, Herrera, Fellaini, Pogba, Mata, Lingard, Mkhitaryan; Martial, Rashford, Ibrahimovic.

The other notable absentee is Eric Bailly, suspended after his red card against St Etienne.

There is no initial indication that either Rooney or Shaw are carrying injuries, but Mourinho will clarify that in his pre-match press conference.
