Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has questioned Arsenal’s festive Premier League fixture list.
Arsenal face Liverpool on December 22 before travelling to Crystal Palace for a late kick-off on December 28.
The Gunners then face an away game against West Brom on New Year’s Eve to round off 2017, with Chelsea their opponents on January 3.
Manchester United, by contrast, face Leicester on December 23, then Burnley on December 26.
Southampton are their opponents on December 30, then they travel to Everton on January 1.
Mourinho has questioned how United can play four league games in the same space of time that Arsenal play three.
“There are certain things we can argue,” he told the Daily Mirror. “There are things we can discuss. There are things we can disagree… but there are things that are facts and against facts, there are no arguments.
“For example, here’s another theme. And you probably have to agree with me.
“Do you think it is possible for Arsenal to play 22nd of December and 28th of December? Do you think it is possible?
“You know, I wish them a Happy Christmas because they are going to have a Christmas while others, they play 23-26.”
