David Moyes reckons Manchester United should continue their efforts to keep Paul Pogba at Old Trafford.
Pogba has been agitating for a move following three underwhelming years with the Red Devils, with Real Madrid and Juventus both keen to take the 26-year-old.
United have so far fended off interest in their record signing but Juve and Real have until the end of the month to complete their recruitment and Pogba admits there is still a question mark over his long-term future.
Former United boss Moyes believes the club are right to refuse to sell the midfielder.
“I think Manchester United should keep Pogba because he is one of the top players in the world,” he told Talksport.
“He has got really good ability. He might have just needed a bit of time to settle. I think it has been unsettling because of the way him or his agent have come out and said he wants to move again.
“But if you look at Manchester United’s midfield on Sunday, not having Paul Pogba would have made them much weaker.”
