Premier League newcomers Bournemouth have agreed a fee for the services of Crystal Palace striker Glenn Murray.

The Cherries will pay £5million for Murray who will undergo a medical on Tuesday and look to agree personal terms before the transfer window closes.

Murray joined Palace from Brighton in 2011, and scored 47 goals in 125 appearances for the Eagles, but the arrival of Connor Wickham from Sunderland has pushed him down the pecking order.

Should the transfer be completed, Murray will become Bournemouth’s fourth major summer signing, with winger Max Gradel, defender Tyrone Mings, and midfielder Lee Tomlin having already joined Eddie Howe’s side.
