The midfielder has completed a two-match ban and could go straight back into the starting line-up with manager Dougie Freedman considering “freshening up” his side following the 1-0 defeat by Huddersfield.
Should Freedman decide on further changes, Ben Osborn and Jamaal Lascelles will be in contention for starts as well as 18-year-old forward Tyler Walker, who could be handed his full debut for the club.
Strikers Dexter Blackstock and Mo Barrow will be assessed after missing out against Huddersfield while Chris Cohen, Andy Reid, Britt Assombalonga and Matty Fryatt are still injured.
Craig Cathcart has been passed fit for Watford but Fernando Forestieri is still out.
Defender Cathcart missed the 2-0 victory over Millwall on Saturday after suffering a calf injury against Middlesbrough on Easter Monday but is available again.
However, striker Forestieri, who has missed the last four games with a knee problem, is not ready to return.
Defender Joel Ekstrand and midfielder Sean Murray remain long-term absentees with knee injuries.
