Liverpool still hope to sign Nabil Fekir, although negotiations are ‘progressing slowly’ with Lyon.

Having completed a move for Monaco midfielder Fabinho, Liverpool hope to conclude a deal for Lyon forward Fekir.

The player’s agent ruled Bayern Munich out of the running earlier this week, while denying reports that he had flown to Merseyside to continue talks.

There have been few updates since, and French newspaper L’Equipe suggest talks are ‘progressing slowly’.

They add that Bayern are still a possible suitor for Fekir, while throwing Atletico Madrid’s name into the ring.

According to Sport Witness, another report in Tuesday’s edition of the newspaper claims that Liverpool have ‘recently positioned themselves’ for Bordeaux winger Malcom.

Malcom was linked with a number of Premier League clubs in January, and will leave the Ligue Un club this summer.

Arsenal are also mentioned with regards to the Brazilian forward.
