Newcastle view England trio as ‘dream summer signings’
John Stones, Dean Henderson and Harry Kane are reportedly viewed as ‘dream signings’ as Newcastle look to improve in the summer transfer window.
The Magpies are bound to spend big in the summer if they avoid relegation from the Premier League.

They won one of their first 20 league games this season with their top-flight safety looking in real danger.
However, Newcastle’s January business has turned around their fortunes. Eddie Howe’s men are unbeaten in their last nine games and have won six of their last seven.
Dan Burn, Bruno Guimaraes, Kieran Trippier, Chris Wood and Matt Targett all joined in the winter window.
Their summer business is likely to be more extravagant, with numerous big names being linked with a move to St James’ Park.
According to GiveMeSport, Newcastle ‘will attempt to give the team a new spine’ with Tottenham striker Kane, Man Utd goalkeeper Henderson and Man City centre-half Stones eyed as ‘dream signings’.
Kane would be an unlikely signing for the Magpies to make, however, the report states that the north east club ‘believe they have nothing to lose’ in their attempts to sign the England captain.
Everton forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin is a potential alternative if they fail to sign the Spurs man.
Newcastle are ‘hopeful’ they can negotiate with City for Stones, who penned a new long-term contract last August.
Henderson is a more realistic target as the shot-stopper is reportedly keen on a move away from Old Trafford after David De Gea has re-emerged as the undisputed No. 1 at the Manchester club.
In February, the Manchester Evening News reported that Magpies ‘keeper Martin Dubravka ‘rejected a deadline day loan move’ after Man Utd ‘were prepared to accept Dubravka in exchange’ for Henderson.
The report adds that Bayern Munich’s Thomas Muller is also on Newcastle’s radar. The German is out of contract in 2023.
