No offers for ‘happy’ Alisson – Roma chief Monchi

Ian Watson

Roma have received no offers for in-demand keeper Alisson, says director of football Monchi.

Liverpool have been linked with a move for the Brazil stopper, while the 25-year-old’s form has made PSG and Real Madrid take notice.

Alisson, who has been described as ‘the Messi of goalkeeping’, admitted to being flattered by the reports of Real interest, but Monchi says the star is happy in Rome.

“We are not afraid of losing Alisson,” Monchi told Mediaset Premium.

“He is happy to be here with us and we are happy with him. What you read in the papers isn’t always true.

“We don’t know of any offer and certainly haven’t received any proposal.

“I speak to Alisson every week, he is happy and wants to do important things here at Roma.”
