Sam Allardyce believes that Sean Dyche would be the perfect manager for Everton.
Referencing their rise under David Moyes – a long time ago, mind – Allardyce believes that Dyche has earned his shot. That’s fair enough.
Allardyce also hopes that Bill Kenwright chooses to give a British manager a chance. He was linked with the job himself, but quickly ruled himself out.
“It goes back to what happens last time. Mosey went from Preston, when they were in the Championship,” Allardyce said.
“Sean has done fantastically well at Burnley for five years now – so let’s see what happens.
“Mr. Kenwright is still there, and maybe he might look to employ a British manager.
“He’d certainly fit the bill, certainly.”
