Oldham v Wolves preview

Lee Johnson will be tempted to stick with the XI which ended Oldham’s game at the weekend when they host Wolves at Boundary Park.
The Latics boss, who last week signed a three-and-a-half-year contract extension, saw his team come from 3-0 down at half-time to win 5-4 in a dramatic contest against Peterborough, and the introductions of defender Connor Brown and striker Jonson Clarke-Harris helped turn the tide.
Midfielder David Worrall played 90 minutes for the first time since April so the loanee may revert back to the bench after suffering from a groin injury of late.
Defender Carl Winchester (groin) and midfielder Anton Rodgers (knee) were unused substitutes having struggled with minor knocks while centre-back Edijs Joksts (back) is expected to miss out again.
Wolves defender Ethan Ebanks-Landell could make his first appearance since New Year’s Day.
Ebanks-Landell returned to Kenny Jackett’s matchday squad at the weekend after recovering from an ankle injury and he will be eyeing a place in the starting line-up.
Matt Doherty is closing in on his return from a hamstring problem but the game at Boundary Park could come too soon for the right-back.
Jackett has confirmed the club have rejected a bid from Celtic for Leigh Griffiths and that the Scotland international will travel with the rest of the squad, although he may have to be content with a place on the bench after Nouha Dicko’s debut brace on Saturday.
