Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris this summer, according to reports.

The 36-year-old has just one year remaining on his contract and has been deemed surplus to requirements by new manager Ange Postecoglou.

Now, Lloris could be set to return to Ligue 1 after an 11-year stint with Tottenham. But, Daniel Levy will only sell him for the right price.

Overall, the veteran shot-stopper has made 447 appearances for Spurs. In the process, he has kept 151 clean sheets.

At one point, Lloris was widely considered to be one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League. But, his performances over the past couple of seasons haven’t been as good as previously.

As a result, Tottenham have already brought in Guglielmo Vicario this summer, who could replace Lloris long-term.

Also, the France international revealed last month that he wanted to ditch Spurs for a fresh challenge elsewhere. So, everything points towards him leaving this summer.

Inter Milan have recently emerged as potential suitors for Lloris, for example.

According to Record SportLloris could be about to make a move to PSG. The French giants are currently looking for a competitor to their first-choice shot-stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma, with the future of Keylor Navas in doubt.

This comes after PSG announced the appointment of Luis Enrique earlier this week, who replaces Christophe Galtier as their permanent manager.

The report adds that while Lloris is still contracted to Tottenham, his loyalty and long-standing commitments to the club meant that his entourage believed he could be allowed to leave on a free transfer.

However, that doesn’t seem to be the case. Indeed, Record Sport claim that Levy will look to recoup a fee from PSG, as he looks to generate funds for incomings.

It isn’t mentioned how much Levy will demand for Lloris. But, it isn’t expected to be a big fee and will almost definitely be under £10m.

Even after signing Vicario, Tottenham may still look to bring in a more experienced shot-stopper this summer.

For instance, Spurs have been linked with the likes of Andre Onana, David Raya and Jordan Pickford recently.

So, it will be interesting to see if Tottenham make a concrete bid for another goalkeeper in the next couple of weeks. But, it’s likely Lloris will have to be sold before they do.
