Jack Grealish would “be fine” adjusting to life at a “big club” like Manchester United, according to Arsenal legend Ray Parlour.

The Daily Mirror report that England hopeful has become United’s top midfield target after James Maddison moved closer to signing a new deal at Leicester.

Grealish has been Aston Villa’s stand out player this season and Villa officials face a battle to keep hold of the 24-year-old in the summer.

Former Arsenal midfielder Parlour is a huge admirer of the Birmingham-born star and thinks United will have to pay around £80m to get him on board later this year.

“Everybody has got a price,” Parlour told talkSPORT. “And he would be £80m plus in the market in the moment.

“With the sort of money sloshing around in the Premier League then he would be around that money.

“He’s a real complete midfielder. So many people who have worked with him as well say he’s got so much talent and going to a big club like Manchester United, can he do it at the top level?

“I think he’d be fine. The way he picks the ball up anywhere on the pitch, he’s very confident with his own ability.

“Obviously Villa fans want him to stay at Villa as well. It’s going to be a big dilemma for him.”

Grealish, who is expected to be called up by Gareth Southgate for England next month, has scored nine goals and added seven assists this season and is under contract until 2023.
