Javier Pastore has admitted that he will consider his future at Paris Saint-Germain amid links to Manchester United.

Pastore has been the subject of speculation regarding a move to Old Trafford after Eric Cantona praised the playmaker.

When asked who he wanted to inherit his famous No 7 shirt at United, Cantona spoke of his “love” for Pastore.

The 28-year-old has rarely featured this season, playing 11 games for PSG, but starting just five.

He was upset at only being handed eight minutes to impress as a substitute in the victory over Monaco at the weekend, and says he will consider his options going forward.

“I was disappointed,” he told L’Equipe.

“I always want to play, I do not play important matches like in the Champions League or today against Monaco. It was more or less like that all year long.

“I have already said it, I’m going to think about my future but the important thing is to try to help the team during the ten minutes that I enter the field.”
