Perez wants to leave Arsenal after ‘no opportunities’

The agent of Lucas Perez says that the striker will leave Arsenal this summer after receiving “no opportunities”.

Perez joined the Gunners last summer in a deal worth around £17million from Deportivo La Coruna.

He rarely featured however, starting just ten games in all competitions, and only two in the Premier League.

The Spaniard still managed to score eight goals and assist a further six, but will seek a departure from north London this summer.

“The idea is to be able to play for another club,” agent Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle told Radio Gallega. “We want to leave and Arsenal already know.

“Do you know anyone who is happy but has no opportunities?

“The key date is 3rd July when Arsenal’s preseason begins.

“Anything is possible -the president of Depor can do wonders while last year I met with Sevilla, who again are interested.”
