Neville compares Fernandes to pricey Man Utd flop
Phil Neville reckons Man Utd midfielder Bruno Fernandes is more like Juan Sebastian Veron than Red Devils legend Paul Scholes.
Former Argentina international, Veron, arrived at Old Trafford from Lazio in 2001 for a £28.1million fee.
However, his time at Man Utd only lasted two years and 51 Premier League appearances before an even less fruitful spell at Chelsea.

Fernandes was a new signing at Old Trafford in January with his initial performances drawing huge praise as he remains unbeaten in a Man Utd shirt.
The Portugal international has been likened to Scholes – which the Man Utd legend didn’t agree with – but Neville thinks his playing style is similar to Veron.
Neville told Premier League Productions: “He’s a really technical player, always wants to take the ball.
“People talk about Paul Scholes but he reminds me more of Veron with the way he’s got that invincibility of taking people on, a lot of shots from distance.
“The positions which he takes up I think are really interesting. He always finds space.”
