Pogba, Mourinho ‘barely on speaking terms’ at Man United

Paul Pogba is giving Jose Mourinho ‘the silent treatment’ at Manchester United as the pair no longer talk directly to one another.
Mourinho made Pogba the most expensive player in the world when he signed him from Juventus in summer 2016 for £89.3million.
The Frenchman enjoyed a good debut season and impressed in the early stages of his second campaign, but has since suffered a high profile fall-out with his boss, and been benched on a number of occasions.
The pair looked to have settled their differences recently, but it has since been reported that Mourinho is ‘furious’ with Pogba, and United face a ‘serious battle’ over both the midfielder and Alexis Sanchez.
The Sun on Sunday add further fuel to the fire, noting that the two are ‘barely on speaking terms’ at Old Trafford.
Pogba is said to be communicating with Mourinho through assistant manager Rui Faria, and that ‘their relationship has hit rock bottom’.
The midfielder is giving the manager ‘the silent treatment’, and Mourinho may struggle to get Pogba ‘back in his plans’.
Can’t wait for Scott McTominay to start blanking Mourinho in the year 2023.
