Pogba stirs transfer speculation by making claim about Turin

Paul Pogba has added to speculation surrounding his future by claiming that Turin will always be his home.

Pogba has endured a turbulent season so far, with Jose Mourinho stripping him of the vice-captaincy earlier in the season, while doubts over their relationship remain after pictures of a training ground row surfaced at the end of September.

Things seem to have cooled for the time being, with United now on a decent run in the league with seven points from their last three matches, but links with Juventus persist.

Pogba reportedly said on Thursday that he considered Manchester to be his home, but he has seemingly contradicted those claims ahead of his return to Juve in the Champions League.

“I expected it, it was crazy,” he told RMC Sport.

“I spoke with my brother last summer, I said: ‘Imagine, we’re in the same group as Juve’.

“For me it’s a pleasure, Turin is my home, it’s there that I scored my first professional goal.”
