Preston v Gillingham preview

Tom Clarke is expected to be fine for Preston’s final home game of the season against Gillingham.
The Lilywhites defender came off at half-time in the 5-2 win over Shrewsbury on Monday complaining of tightness in his calf, but boss Simon Grayson revealed that was more as a precaution.
Clarke had started that contest at right-back, a position where North End are hardly blessed with options given Keith Keane and Scott Wiseman (both knee) are again doubts.
Preston have lost just twice at home all season in the league and could have top scorer Joe Garner (calf) back in the starting line-up as they bid to preserve that proud record.
Gillingham boss Peter Taylor should have a clean bill of health when his side travel to high-flying Preston.
The Gills need just one point from their final two games to guarantee their Sky Bet League One safety and Taylor could make changes having not stuck with the same line-up since agreeing a full-time contract with the club in November.
Amine Linganzi, Myles Weston, Charlie Lee and Adebayo Akinfenwa were all on the bench for Monday’s draw at Walsall and, with more than 75 starts between them so far this season, could all feature more prominently.
Cody MacDonald is likely to spearhead the Gillingham attack having scored in back-to-back games during the Easter period, bringing his season total to 16.
