Paris Saint-Germain ‘have made contact’ with Tottenham sporting director Fabio Paratici, according to reports.

Paratici joined the Premier League side in July 2021 after spending 11 years at Juventus.

He helped bring in Bryan Gil, Cristian Romero, Pape Matar Sarr, Emerson Royal and Pierluigi Gollini during his first summer transfer window.

During the winter window, he oversaw deals for Juventus duo Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski whilst letting numerous players leave.

However, his time in north London could be coming to an end soon, with Foot Mercato (via the Express) claiming that PSG are interested in bringing Paratici to the French capital.

Their interest stems from the pressure current sporting director Leonardo is under.

Tensions are running high after the Brazilian was unable to tie Kylian Mbappe down to a new contract amid interest from Real Madrid.

PSG were also keen on signing Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele on loan, but a deal broke down and the Frenchman joined Lyon.

Meanwhile, Spurs manager Antonio Conte has admitted that the club selling their record signings is proof they have made mistakes in the past.

As well as Ndombele’s move to Lyon, Giovani Lo Celso joined Villarreal on loan and summer signing Gil made the loan move to Valencia.

Dele Alli also left the club, joining Everton on a transfer that could rise up to £40m.

When asked about the signings of Bentancur and Kulusevski, Conte revealed they will be available for Spurs’ FA Cup clash with Brighton on Saturday.

“The two players are fit and for this reason tomorrow they are available, for sure to start the game is not right because they need to work with the team for a period. They can come in to help us a lot.”

On Kulusevski: “He is a good player, he is very young, he is a great talent and he can play like a number 10 with the strikers but at the same time he has the potential to play wing-back on the right, he has good quality.

“He likes to attack, he is good on a one vs one, to create chances for team-mates. A good signing for us.”
