PSG told to set their sights higher than Ander Herrera

Former France star Willy Sagnol believes PSG should be targeting better players than Ander Herrera.
The Manchester United midfielder is approaching free agency this summer and he admits he is in talks with other clubs while the Red Devils stall on offering him the deal he feels he deserves at Old Trafford.
PSG have been heavily linked with the 29-year-old but former Bordeaux coach Sagnol reckons the Ligue 1 giants should be setting their sets higher if they want to progress.
“For me, this is not the level that PSG must target to pass a stage,” he told French outlet RMC Sport at the weekend.
“Today, PSG must pass a course.
“Me, I continue to say today, I do not know why they paid €50m for (Leandro) Paredes. For me, he’s still an enigma.
“And Ander Hererra is no better than Paredes.
“He’s the same kind of player and they are not the ones who make you go through stages.
“If you want to be a big club and win the Champions League, you need big players. You need a general in the middle.”
