Pundits choose their Prem XI of the season so far

A selection of pundits have chosen their Premier League teams of the season so far, with one predicting Paul Pogba will become an “all-time great”.

After 20 games of the season, Chelsea top the table by five points, with Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United all within ten points.

Speaking to the official Premier League website, three pundits have named their teams of the season so far.

Neville named five Chelsea players in his starting line-up, with representatives from Sunderland, Manchester United, Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool.

On the inclusion of Pogba, he said: “He will probably be one of the all-time great Premier League players.”

Dublin noted that he “could quite easily just go with the whole Chelsea team,” before realising that he’d probably have to make a few changes. In come Phil Jones of Manchester United, Danny Rose of Tottenham, and Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez. “Those three players that I’ve put in have been outstanding,” he adds.

Yes, that is Kevin De Bruyne and Eden Hazard as wing-backs. “They’re not particularly wing-backs,” he explains, “but they’ll have to do a job for me.

“There are not many defenders in that team, but they’d be exciting to watch, that’s for sure.”
