Quartet to miss Arsenal’s trip to Ludogorets

Arsene Wenger has confirmed Santi Cazorla, Theo Walcott, Nacho Monreal and Hector Bellerin will all miss Arsenal’s clash with Ludogorets.

Arsenal travel to the Bulgarian outfit knowing a win will keep them top of Group A.

Walcott trained on Monday but has been deemed unable to play, while Cazorla is nursing an Achilles injury.

Carl Jenkinson will deputise at right-back after Bellerin picked up a slight knock in training, while Kieran Gibbs will continue at left-back.

Arsenal beat Ludogorets 6-0 earlier this month, but Wenger expects a stern test on Tuesday night.

“The result was flattering for us because we scored many goals,” he said.

“But I don’t forget that we were facing a good attacking Ludogorets team in that first half.

“When the game was very tight, we needed a strong defensive performance to stop them being dangerous because they had many chances as well. We will have to again.”
