Mino Raiola claims Juventus remain a “possibility” for Paul Pogba as speculation over his Manchester United future continues.
The 28-year-old has been in stunning form for the Red Devils so far this season, with his brace of assists in the 4-1 win over Newcastle taking his tally to seven in four games.
Pogba is in the final year of his current United deal and there has been no meaningful movement on an extension, with Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid both rumoured to be considering a move for the France international.
He will be able to hold talks with prospective suitors in January ahead of a free transfer if his United future isn’t resolved.
But it was reported this week that Pogba was ‘leaning’ towards an Old Trafford stay, with the club willing to put a new offer on the table.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s ‘homecoming’ is said to have had a big impact on the Frenchman, and his arrival, along with the signings of Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho, has apparently been enough to convince Pogba to consider a new deal.
But the man with the spoon, his agent Raiola, is stirring the pot once more, claiming a return to Juventus is also on the cards.
He spoke to Italian TV channel Rai Sport on Friday and said: “Pogba’s contract expires next year. We will talk to Manchester (United) and see.
“For sure Turin has remained in his heart and he cares a lot about these things. The possibility of returning to Juventus is there but it also depends on Juve.”
Paul’s brother, Mathias, is also refusing to rule out a move away this summer, claiming a decision is yet to be made.
He told Spanish TV show El Chiringuito: “Paul has yet to decide whether he intends to stay at Manchester United or leave next summer.
“The decision is up to him. Right now, he feels very good at Manchester United, especially this season.
“We will see. We will see when it is time to make a decision.”
