Sergio Ramos was asked about Cristiano Ronaldo’s future amid reports that he wants to leave Real Madrid.

According to El Chiringuito, Ronaldo has refused to sign a new contract at Real and has demanded his exit.

The Portuguese joined the club in 2009 and has scored all the goals and won all the trophies, but is now ‘angry’ in the Spanish capital.

He is thought to have been incensed by president Florentino Perez’s latest contract offer, and is again being linked with a move away.

Teammate Ramos, who scored two penalties in Spain’s 3-3 draw with Russia in midweek, was asked about the situation on Tuesday.

“Cristiano is leaving? Ask him, I don’t know about these things,” he said.

Ramos was also asked about Real’s upcoming Madrid derby, a must-win game.

“It’s the good thing about football – difficult games come in,” he said.

“We have a minimum margin of error because we have wasted several points.

“We hope to play a good role in the derby and then we’ll see.”
