Jose Mourinho is set to sell three of Spurs’ star players in January, as he looks to transform the squad he inherited from Mauricio Pochettino.
According to footmercato.net, Danny Rose, Victor Wanyama and Christian Eriksen have all been deemed surplus to requirements by the Portuguese boss.
Eriksen has looked disinterested for the majority of the season after refusing to extend his contract with the club, making most of his appearances from the bench.
Rose has insisted that he will see out the remainder of his Tottenham contract, but Mourinho is said to be keen on moving him on as he doesn’t see him as a long-term option at left-back.
Injuries have blighted Victor Wanyama’s Tottenham career, and after initially being a vital part of Pochettino’s midfield having moved from Southampton, has had very little game time in recent months.
Mourinho reportedly does not have much, if any, money to spend in January, so may need to move players on to bring in any reinforcements.
