Tottenham will make a fresh contract offer to Christian Eriksen in the next few days, according to reports in Italy.
The Dane’s future has been up in the air all summer after he said he was looking for a fresh challenge as he entered the final year of his contract, but a move to a top European club has not materialised.
Real Madrid were the main side linked with a move for Eriksen but there was no concrete interest from the La Liga side and the 27-year-old remains in north London for the time being.
Spurs intend to offer Eriksen a five-year deal worth €7.5m a year but the club may still look to cash in on him.
The report adds that Inter Milan are interested with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and United still keen.
And FcInterNews continues by saying there will be an auction for Eriksen if he fails to accept the new proposal from Spurs.
