Manchester United will look to add three players to their squad in the summer transfer window, according to reports.

The Red Devils strengthened their squad in January, bringing in Bruno Fernandes for an initial £46.5m from Sporting Lisbon, while Odion Ighalo has joined from Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua on a six-month loan deal with an option to buy in the summer.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Jamie Carragher reckoned that Man Utd fans would be unhappy with their January transfer business with the club’s supporters expecting more additions considering their poor position in the Premier League.

United currently sit fifth in the Premier League after losing their last two matches in the league to Burnley and Liverpool.

And the Evening Standard claims that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants ‘as many as three new signings at the end of the season’ with Paul Pogba potentially on his way out of Old Trafford.

The Man Utd boss has ‘a No.10, a right-sided attacker and a striker all on his wanted list’ for the next transfer window.
