Philippe Coutinho is weighing up his options ahead of potential move away from Barcelona, according to reports.
The Brazil international left Liverpool to move to the Camp Nou back in January 2018 for an initial £105m.
But he has failed to establish himself in Spain, partially because of his ‘cursed house’.
Catalan newspaper Sport (via Sport Witness) claimed on Monday that Coutinho would be an ‘impossible signing’ for United despite the Brazilian evaluating the possibility of leaving the Camp Nou.
Barca and the Red Devils recently clashed in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final clash at Old Trafford where the away side won 1-0 thanks to an own goal from Luke Shaw.
Ernesto Valverde started Coutinho in the match with United fans booing the Brazil international when he was on the pitch.
The reception he received has ‘convinced’ Coutinho to give United a swerve if he decides he wants to leave Barca in the summer transfer window.
Kia Joorabchian and Giuliano Bertolucci, who represent Coutinho, have scheduled a meeting with the Barca hierarchy after the second leg and the playmaker’s future is expected to become clearer.
The report continues by claiming that the player is now leaning towards a possible exit, while the club are now wanting him to stay.
