Jose Mourinho is eager to tie down Manchester United duo Marouane Fellaini and Marcus Rashford to new contracts, according to reports.
Fellaini, who joined the Red Devils from Everton in 2013 for £27.5million, will be able to leave the club in the summer when his current contract runs down.
The Belgium international’s representatives are understood to be unhappy with the current offer on the table from United and the two parties remain in dialogue.
However, Rashford’s situation is less urgent with the youngster signing a new four-year contract last summer after an impressive breakthrough season in 2015-16.
The Independent claims that United want to secure deals for Fellaini and Rashford before the January transfer window opens.
Mourinho is being pro-active and is “intent on pre-emptively sorting all such issues before they become a problem”.
